| [11.25.02] | London: Mark & Petra's Wedding

In June, many of us young American artists made a voyage to London to be there for our best friends' wedding. After a lot of hubbub securing plane tickets, saving money, and trying to get our bearings straight... we finally made it over there and managed to stay in a group! London proved to be an interesting city in many regards. Many of the areas were highly historical, but there was a mixing of culture that ran even more deeply than [de.la.media]'s home base of Chicago.

We made it around in a lot of ways, bus, car, taxi, and train. Petra's wonderful mother Anthea had a little car rented that brought into London proper. I was met with a warm greeting Petra and Anthea at the airport... I thank my lucky stars that they were there for me... even after leaving London, I still had yet to make heads or tails of most of it. It really is a huge place. The architecture was quite astounding to me and the pictures below will show you what I mean.

The wedding was truly a great experience for everyone, I was the 'best man' and helped mr. molitor keep calm and smiling through the preparation. The beautiful bride, Petra, looked like a princess coming down the isle in Paul's [her papa] arm. I managed not to lose the rings, thank the light... hehehe. It was a great service in a great chapel with great folks to root on my best friends... congrats kids!
