                                           plaything for something feline

           ball batted,

                 rolls

across                     two states of being

           one,

                 leaving a trail of oneself
                                                  at a loss.

           another,

                 rolls over, brushing lips
                                                irresistible.

           ball stops.

                   left unraveled

across                         a distance

           wind blows.

                   carries the thread

across                        away
